George and Luciana attended a meeting sponsored by the Scientific Committee on Ocean Research (SCOR), which has funded a working group on mixoplankton (organisms that can both feed and photosynthesize). The meeting took place in June in Baiona, Spain. We also had a two-day cruise on the continental shelf south of Montauk on the RV Connecticut.
